Terry E. Newman of Noblesville, IN passed away on August 29, 2025 at the age of 83. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to parents Earl Newman and Dorothy J. Gulley.
He was a veteran and proudly served his country as a member of the 82nd Airborne division. He was a combat engineer in his unit as a Green Beret in the 7th group from 1960-1963. He was always teaching and sharing with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren his passions for fishing, hunting, golfing and woodworking. He was a social butterfly who enjoyed meeting and interacting with people from all walks of life. 5 minutes into a random conversation would often lead to a life-long friendship!
He was a member of Cicero Christian Church for many years.
Terry obtained an associate’s degree in engineering from the University of Indianapolis and spent his career working as a manufacturing quality engineer, vice-president of quality management and in his later years as an independent quality consultant.
Terry married Marcia Kay (Turner) Newman on July 21, 1962. They were high school sweethearts who were blessed to have spent 63 years of marriage loving, supporting and working side by side with each other every day of their lives. He is survived by his wife, Marcia Kay Newman and children Teresa (Dave) Prater, Beth (Randy) Graham, David (Buffy) Newman and Janet Lyons. He is survived by his grandchildren: Justin (Marissa) Moorhous, Zachary (Elizabeth) Graham, Damon (Jourdan) Graham, Wesley, Regan, Kori Newman and Brett (Amanda) Cheesman.
