Molly Marie Baker

Molly Marie (Goble) Baker, 56 of Westfield, Indiana, passed away on November 9, 2025. She was born on January 23, 1969, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to parents, Rex Goble and Diane (Moore) Spradlin.

Molly lived a life marked by compassion, dedication, and a deep love for those around her.

Molly devoted over two decades of her professional life to healthcare as an Operating Room Nurse. Her commitment to patient care and her calm presence in high-pressure situations left a lasting impression on colleagues and patients alike. After 23 years in nursing, she brought her nurturing spirit to the Westfield-Washington School District, where she served for the past

11 years as a Secretary at Oak Trace Elementary and Instructional Assistant at Westfield High School. In both roles, Molly was known for her warmth and attentiveness—always ready with a kind word or helping hand.

Those who knew Molly will remember her as a social butterfly—someone who lit up every room she entered with laughter and genuine affection. Her caring nature touched countless lives across the hospital corridors and school hallways where she worked so faithfully.

Molly is survived by her loving husband, David Baker; son, William Baker; brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Maria Goble; nephew, Nick Goble; niece, Olivia Goble; stepfather, Tom Spradlin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Lisa Baker; nephew, niece-in-law, and great niece, Bobby and Elizabeth Baker and Eleanor Baker; nephew, Alex Baker; niece Sarah Baker; and mother-in-law, Marcia Griep. Molly also is survived by many other aunts, uncles, and cousins too numerous to list them all.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rex Goble, and her mother, Diane Spradlin.

A Memorial Gathering for Molly will be from 11am-1pm on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park (Prairie Waters) – 4180 Westfield Rd., Westfield, IN 46062, with a memorial service immediately following at 1pm. A celebration with food and refreshments will commence after the service until 4:30pm.
