Terry Luwanda Normore, born on March 25, 1961, in Wichita, Kansas, passed away on April 10, 2025, in DeSoto, Texas. Her life was a testament to the power of education and community involvement, marked by a remarkable career as a teacher and coach.

Terry's legacy will be celebrated with a viewing on April 24, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. A funeral service honoring her life and contributions will take place the following day, April 25, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Friendship West Baptist Church, located at 2020 West Wheatland Road, Dallas, TX 75232.
Terry Luwanda Normore will be remembered as an inspiring figure, whose legacy of motivation and kindness continues to resonate through the lives she touched.
