Terry Stephen Patterson, aged 76, of Ooltewah, TN, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 with his daughters by his side.
A graveside service honoring Terry's life and service with full military honors is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, February 27 at 1:00 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Born on February 25, 1947, Terry was a loving father, brother, and grandfather. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and later retired from the TN Department of Labor where he worked for many years as a tax auditor.
Terry’s memory lives on through his children, Stephanie (Jason) Patterson-Dowd and Marisa (Drew) Becker; sister, Joyce Belcher; brother, Ronald (Judy) Patterson; grandchildren, Abigail Burke, Liam, and Penelope Becker; nieces and nephews, Jason Belcher, Ronnie Patterson, Ramona Mahr, and Susan Wynne-Sylvester; several extended family members and a host of friends in various states.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Gladys Millican Patterson; siblings Red Patterson and Mildred Wynne; and brother-in-law, Hank Belcher.
Terry's presence will be dearly missed but his memory will continue to live on through the legacy of love and dedication he left behind.
