Terry Lynn Pickard, 65, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 26, 2025, at PBRMC in Poplar Bluff. Mr. Pickard was born on August 3, 1960, in Tulsa, OK, son of the late Alvin Pickard and Lola Cartwright.

Terry was well known in his community as the "Dr. Pepper Man" for many years. He also helped manage Bluff Falls in the early 2000s. He was an over-the-road truck driver for most of his career. Terry was a lifelong sports fan. He was proud to be one of the founders of the Butler County Little League and he found great joy in coaching his kids in their sports growing up. He also enjoyed playing co-ed ball and cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners.

More than anything, Terry will be remembered as a devoted father, papa, and friend. He had a very generous spirit and was the kind of person to make sure no one went without if he could help it. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Terry is survived by five children: Kaci Pickard, Megan Hays, Cameron Pickard, Dan Elder, and Autumn Pickard; 14 grandchildren; two brothers: Wayne Pickard and Jimmy Case; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter: Terra Pickard; three brothers: Alvin, Gary, and Galen Pickard; and a very special woman in his life, his mother-in-law: Janice K. Rice "Granny."

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests monetary donations be sent directly to White-Sanders Funeral Home to assist with Mr. Pickard's funeral expenses. Donations may be made in person at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk or by phone: 573-967-3300.

Arrangements are pending and will be announced when finalized. Condolences: www.whitesandersfuneralhome.com
