When working with Mike at Bachelor Controls I remember he was an upbeat person with an infectious smile (every day). On December 18th we got together to reminisce our past at BCI with many attending and were all so glad Mike was there too. Our condolences to you and your family Sharon... Darrell and Sue Schuette.

I enjoyed working with Mike my last few years at Washburn. Many of us had been at Washburn for a long time and Mike brought in a lot of great ideas and new perspectives from his years working in IT outside of higher education. I had grown up in Sabetha so we also made a connection there. He was a thoughtful and caring person and I was sorry to hear of his passing. I pray God's comfort to the family and friends he leaves behind.

I was so saddened to hear of Mike´s passing.
Mike was a trusted colleague in Information Technology Services at Washburn University, and his calm leadership, integrity, and kindness made a lasting impact on all of us.
Please know that our ITS team, and Washburn community, is keeping your family in our thoughts. We are grateful for the time we had with him.

I wanted to share a message that was intended for Mike this month, but didn't make it to him. We are all thinking of you during this time.
