Terry Ray Roberts passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, surrounded by his beloved family. He was 73.

Born on October 7, 1951, to Pauline and Elmo Roberts in Ada, Oklahoma. He lost his parents at a young age and was raised by his grandparents, Olan and Geneva Roberts. Terry lived a life marked by service, hard work, laughter, and love. At age 18, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and bravely served his country in Vietnam. After returning to Ada, he went onto marry and had two beautiful daughters.

Terry’s passion for driving trucks took him across the country, but it was in Omaha, Nebraska, where he truly found home. There, he met the love of his life, Marilu, and they married in August 1992. With their union, Terry embraced a larger family, gaining three cherished stepchildren.

Known for his big heart, belly laugh and unforgettable sense of humor, Terry made friends wherever he went. He loved playing shuffleboard, sharing stories and laughing over drinks, testing his luck with Keno and traveling back to Oklahoma to visit his family.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Marilu; sister, Janice Hedrick; daughters Stefanie (Greg) Tweedy and Lindsay Glenn; stepdaughters Melisa Goeden and Johanna (Rich) Braesch; and daughter-in-law Casey Goeden. He was a proud grandfather to Codee Glenn, Ellie and Emma Goeden, Jake Parkman, and Cash and Jaimeson Goeden. His legacy lives on through the memories shared and the love he gave.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmo and Pauline Roberts; grandparents, Olan and Geneva Roberts; brother-in-law, Ted Hedrick; and Stepson; Nicholas (Nick) Goeden.

Terry’s family and friends will forever remember his belly laugh and sense of humor. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
