Terry Lee Shipman

Terry L. Shipman, age 60, of Annandale, died Friday, February 21, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.
A committal service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Sylvan Cemetery in Middleville Township followed by a Celebration of Life from 2-4 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Waverly.
Terry Lee Shipman was born on December 25, 1964, in Princeton, Minnesota to Andrew "Jack" and Ruth (Hidde) Shipman. He grew up in Elk River, receiving his education from Elk River High School and North Hennepin Community College. On August 3, 1991, Terry began a beautiful journey with Raymond Casey, they joined their lives in marriage on March 9, 2015, within the comforts of their home in Middleville Township. Their bond was a shining example of love, support, and partnership. Terry worked at Cargill Kitchen Solutions, Inc. in Monticello.
Terry had a profound appreciation for the beauty of nature; he found joy in tending to his flowers, nurturing plants, and watching birds flit among the trees. A passionate gardener, he always transformed his home into a green oasis. Traveling with Ray, he often sought out new adventures, embracing the opportunities to explore different places and create lasting memories together. Terry was a kind soul, cherished by many for his warmth, laughter, and passion for life.
Terry is survived by his husband, Ray; sister, Carol (Larry) Columbus; brother, Dale Shipman; mother-in-law, Gladys Casey; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James Casey, Richard (Nancy) Casey, Gary Thiele, Joyce Casey, and Jerry Casey; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ruth Shipman; brothers, John and Danny Shipman; father-in-law, Patrick Casey; and sister-in-law, Gail Thiele.
Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
