Terry Tate

Terry passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023.
Terry Was Born On August 14, 1959 in Jackson, Mississippi to Joe and Jane Martin. She resided in Canton for the remainder of her life with her loving husband of 33 years, Jessie (Buddy) Tate. They shared two daughters, Casey and Taylor. Terry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was loved by everyone who knew her. Terry had the biggest personality that took over every party. Her biggest joy in life was the role of "Grandma" to her four grandchildren Sawyer, Emma, Kinsley, and Rhett. She loved to be outdoors from sun up until sundown which was evident by her beautiful tan.
Terry is survived by her husband, Jessie (Buddy) Tate; her two daughters, Casey Canoy (Mason Canoy) and Taylor McAdory (Jimmy McAdory); her nephew Jimmy Fox (Jennifer Fox); her four grandchildren: Sawyer Canoy, Kinsley Canoy, Emma McAdory and Rhett McAdory; her brother Joe W. Martin Jr. (Terri); her sister Susan Fox (James); along with other nephew, cousins, and a niece.
She is preceded in death by her parents Joe W. Martin Sr. and Sara Jane Martin.
Services will be held at Breeland Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM with a private memorial service to follow.
