Terry R. Wilkerson

Terry R. Wilkerson, 76, of Metamora, IL, passed away at 11:43 pm on Friday, December 2, 2022, at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL.
He was born on July 25, 1946, in Pekin, IL, to Harry and Marcella (Wright) Wilkerson. He married Lynn Frericks on December 27, 2003, in Las Vegas, NV.
Surviving are his wife, Lynn of Metamora; two sons, Gregory (Stacey) Wilkerson of Colorado Springs, CO and Matt (Erika) Wilkerson of Metamora; two step-children, Heather (Rob) Kneer of Washington, IL and Joshua McCabe of Peoria; nine grandchildren, Kylie, Olivia, London, Kamryn, Katelyn, Blake, Camden, Noah, and Nicholas; and one brother, Butch (Carol) Wilkerson of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Linda.
Terry was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a self-employed builder. After retirement and for over ten years, Terry and Lynn enjoyed spending time between their home in Metamora and Florida. He loved fishing, especially deep-sea, and enjoyed going to his grandchildren's sporting events. Terry was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. His family was so very important to him and meant the world to him.
