Thaddeus A. Moss, 46, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Saturday June 3, 2023 at his home.
He was born December 29, 1976 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Harvey Moss and Susie (Gaddy) Belue.
A lifelong resident of the area, Thaddeus graduated from New Prairie High School. Following graduation, he completed his Associates Degree in Massage Therapy at Ivy Tech Community College. He was a nature lover, enjoying hiking and fishing in his free time and even photographing much of what he saw. Nature, sunsets, space, and the Moon were what he enjoyed capturing the most. He found joy in reading comic books and loved to watch movies, mainly comedies and Seinfeld, in his free time. Thaddeus was fascinated with research and studying numbers and patterns of numbers. He enjoyed football and playing catch with his family. Above all, family was what mattered most to Thaddeus, including his cats, CiCi, Pretty Girl, Handsome Boy and Cutie Pie.
He is survived by his mother and step-father Susie and Adam Belue of Walkerton, IN; daughter, Alyssa Dombkowski of Kingsford Heights, IN; son, Chase Alan Moss of Kingsford Heights, IN; sister, Dana Moss of Mill Creek, IN; niece, Denai Livergood of Mill Creek; nephews Nolan Livergood and Bryce Trumble, both of Mill Creek; and granddogs, Zuko and Kai.
Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Devon Shulte, officiating. Cremation will take place.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Independent Cat Society, 4061 S. County Line Rd., Westville, IN 46391.

Thad was a kind, fun, family-oriented guy. He had a big heart and was very empathetic towards others. He was also very intellectual and liked decoding number patterns; which I would enjoy with him. He was a good friend. Thad had a profound mind and personality; and he will be very missed..
