The Toth Family

The Toth Family died in Colorado on April 7, 2018 while driving home after a spring break ski vacation. The family will receive family and friends from 9:00 am Monday until 11:00 am at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 21800 Marter, St. Clair Shores, where the Rites of Christian Burial will immediately follow. Thomas Michael Toth, age 48, the son of John L. and Susan C. Toth. Tom grew up in Dearborn Heights and attended Divine Child Elementary and High School for 12 years. He is a graduate of Michigan State University and Central Michigan University. He worked for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles for nearly 25 years. Tom is survived by his father, John; his sisters: Anne Riddering (Brian) and their children Emma, Elizabeth and Nathan; Christine O’Connell (Dennis) and their children Lauren, Sara and Jacob; and Jeanine Toth. Additionally, Tom is survived by many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Susan in 2017. Christina Ann Daskas-Toth, age 48, was born in Grosse Pointe, the daughter of Christ and Stephanie Daskas. Christina grew up in Grosse Pointe Shores and was a graduate of Grosse Pointe North High School, Michigan State University and the Detroit College of Law. Christina was an accomplished attorney with a career spanning corporate law as well as time with the Wayne County Prosecuting Attorney’s office. She had recently formed a partnership at a law firm with lifelong friend and partner, Lisa Kirsch Satawa. Christina is survived by her parents, Christ and Stephanie Daskas; her siblings, Michael Daskas (Dori) and their children, Maria and Katherine; and Mary Anna Daskas Georgopolous; and her children, John and Stephanie. Christina is also survived by many cousins and friends. Sophia M. Toth, age 11, born in Detroit. Sophia was a fifth-grade student at Maire Elementary in Grosse Pointe and loved her classmates and teachers. Elianna M. Toth, age 8, nicknamed “Ella.” She was a third-grade student at Maire Elementary in Grosse Pointe and loved her classmates and teachers.
