Theckla "Tec" Reible

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Theckla (Tec) Reible, who passed away on July 10, 2022. The sun rose and the world welcomed Theckla (Sweeney) Reible on April 24, 1938 to the late George and Beatrice Davis.
Tec was a small business owner-she owned and operated many small taverns in Marinette throughout her life. Tec opened her first bar, "Tec's Place" in 1974 and continued her journey for many years. She poured her heart and soul into her businesses, which was shown to all customers and patrons who later became friends.
Tec married Roger Reible in 1984. Tec and Roger continued their adventure in the tavern business together. After a 6 year residency in Florida, they returned to the town they called home and opened up the Back-A-Gan tavern. Tec shared her sparkle with many in the community and was known for her "glitter ceilings" in many of her businesses. During her life Tec also attended cosmetology school. She lived a full and strong life, filled with many memories. She vibrantly lived up to her motto, "Enter as strangers and leave as friends". Tec will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
Tec is survived by her husband, Roger; her daughter, Colleen; her son, Justin; step-sons, Troy and Rodney; step-daughter, Tricia; and an abundance of family and friends.
Tec was predeceased by her parents, George and Beatrice; her six brothers and sisters, Dennis, Terry, Donald, Mary, Valerie and Tim; her daughters, Dorrie, Lori and Marla; and her son, Lyle.
No service will take place. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the Alibi Bar and Grill (829 Main St. in Marinette: cc as Tec's Place) from 1 until 2 p.m. for family and friends. At 2 p.m. it will be open to the public. We very much appreciate your love and support during this difficult time.
Memorial donations may be made to the Menominee Animal Shelter.
