Roger A. Reible

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roger A. Reible on April 11, 2023. The sun rose and the world welcomed Roger on December 5, 1946 in Mayville, Wisconsin. Roger married Theckla "Tec" (Davis) Sweeney in 1984. Roger had attended culinary and baking school in earlier years. Together Roger and Tec were small business owners, operating several taverns and the former Rei-Tec Corner Bakery. Roger had a passion for baking and made the best Christmas cookies ever. They poured their heart and soul into their businesses, which was shown to all customers and patrons who later became friends.
After a 6-year residency in Florida, they returned to the town they called home and opened up the Back-A-Gan tavern. Together they lived full and strong lives, filled with many memories. They lived up to Tec's motto, "Enter as strangers and leave as friends". Roger and Tec will be fondly remembered and are sorely missed.
Roger is survived by children, Justin (Tiffany) Reible, Troy (Jan) Reible, Rodney Reible, Colleen Sweeney and Latricia Ferkovich; grandchildren, Stacey (Bob) Lakard, Jay Schomaker, Jenny Burke, Sarah (Chris) Joubert, Lyle Sweeney III, Dylan Sweeney, Joelle List, Dakota Reible, Savannah Reible, Zoey Reible, Thomas Reible, Dylan Worthing and Devyn Worthing; and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Tec Reible; parents, George and Betty Reible; children, Marla, Dorrie and Lyle "Buddy"; and grandchildren, Christine and Willy.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Alibi Bar and Grill, 829 Main St. in Marinette beginning at 2 p.m. We very much appreciate your love and support during this difficult time.
