Thelma V. Cline, age 87 of Raven, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2007 in a Richlands, Virginia hospital. Born June 19, 1920 in Richlands, Virginia she was the daughter of the late George and Maggie Lowe Asbury. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton B. (Jack) Cline. Sr.; two sons, Jackie Donald Cline and Freddie Lee Cline; one daughter, Wilma Sue Keen; three sisters, Elizabeth Lowe, Mary Alley and Cassie Ray; three brothers, John Asbury, Bill Asbury and Wesley Asbury; one great grandchild, Ricky Nichols, Jr. She is survived by one son, Clayton B. Cline, Jr. and wife Nancy of Abingdon; one daughter, Norma and husband Earnest of Raven; one sister, Juanita Stevens; one brother, Ed Asbury; a special grandson, Randy Lester; seven grandchildren; two step grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren and two step great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 1, 2007 at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel at Cedar Bluff, Virginia with Rev. James Horton and Rev. Raymond Peery officiating. Entombment will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 P.M. Friday at Singleton Funeral Service at Cedar Bluff, Virginia.
