Thelma Shimberg Obituary

Born in Saint Louis, Missouri, to Saul and Mary (née Blustein), she resided Marlboro Township for 34 years.
Prior to retiring in 1962, she was a Secretary for the U.S. Army.
In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra and keeping up with current events.
Thelma is predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Norman Shimberg, who passed before her in 1986.
Surviving are her children, Stacey Goldrosen of Morganville, Gregg Shimberg of Marlboro; and her two grandchildren, Zachary and Jeffrey Goldrosen.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 12:45 pm, at Wellwood Cemetery, 1180 Wellwood Avenue, West Babylon, NY Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels. For directions, please view our "Events" listed below.
Memorial contributions in honor of Thelma may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
