MANCHESTER-Howard Stanley Goldman, 87, of Delray Beach, Florida, and Manchester, New Jersey, formerly of New York City, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025, at 4:45 p.m., with his devoted family at his side.

Born in Brooklyn to Morris and Fannie (Elberg) Goldman, Mr. Goldman spent his early years between Brooklyn and Manhattan, where he cultivated the grit and intelligence that would guide his life.

He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of corporal sergeant. His military service was one of his most cherished accomplishments, instilling in him the discipline, resilience, and honor that defined his character.

After marrying Maddi, the love of his life, the couple settled in Manalapan, New Jersey, where they raised their family and created a home filled with warmth and laughter. This June, the Goldman's celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary - a lasting testament to their devotion.

Mr. Goldman was the first man in his extended family to earn a Master's Degree. He devoted more than 25 years to the New York City public school system, where he earned the respect of colleagues and inspired generations of students. With Maddi, he also explored entrepreneurial pursuits, including a luxury handbag business, and later found success in real estate. His resourcefulness, ingenuity, and tireless work ethic carried through every chapter of his life.

In retirement, Mr. Goldman and his wife embraced nearly two decades in Delray Beach. They raised two beloved dogs, Honey I and Honey II, built lifelong friendships, and immersed themselves in community life. He took special joy in championing Maddi's passion for local theater, steadfastly serving as her greatest supporter.

Above all, Mr. Goldman's deepest pride was his family. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Doris.

He is survived by his wife, Maddi; their children, Marla Camins and Robert Goldman, and their spouses, Steven Bruce Camins and Maddi (Dolan) Goldman; as well as his grandchildren, Farrah, Evelyn, Skye, and Jake. He is also survived by Steven's son, Jack, as well as a nephew, Neil. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Adrienne, and her family - cousins, Michael, his wife, Erin, as well as cousins, Daniel and Judith - along with their collective children, Nate, Hannah, Ellie, Joe, Sam, and Stephanie.

Howard Goldman will be remembered as a man of perseverance, integrity, humor, and devotion - to his country, his values, and above all, his loved ones. His story, his love, and his example will remain a blessing to all who knew him.

A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 11:45 am, at MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Interment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery in South Brunswick. For directions, please see "Events" listed below.
