I was fortunate to have met Ira at Dean Witter decades ago, where he became a mentor and a friend. Though we haven't been in touch for many years, I will always remember his kindness, quick wit, and great sense of humor. He made an impact on my life and I'm grateful to have known him.

Ira and I met in 1988 when we both joined Dean Witter. We were quick friends and worked closely together while at 2 World Trade Center on the 73rd floor until 9/11. He relocated closer to his home on the Jersey Shore. We had so many great times together both in business and personally. He was a great friend and mentor to many. Vaya con Dios my friend.

I got to know Ira many years ago when running with him on the Sea Girt and Spring Lake boardwalks. Ira was brilliant and I learned much about the Stock Market and how to invest in it during our many conversations over the years.
I wish Ira´s family peace and comfort during this sad and difficult time.

I first met Ira when he was training to become a financial advisor at Shearson Lehman Bros on the 103 rd floor of the World Trade Center in NYC, some 40 years ago. I was his trainer. As a kid from Canarsie, and he from Canarsie/East Flatbush, we shared many a story about the streets and the school yards. From the very beginning, Ira showed an extremely strong work ethic, while exhibiting a most vibrant personality! Although he left our firm, I witnessed his rise to success through occasional phone calls and third parties in common. Ironically, we ended up as neighbors in Sea Girt thirty years after our first meeting. We would laugh and marvel as how to kids from the rough and tumble asphalt ball fields and playgrounds of Brooklyn, ended up in a beautiful place like Sea Girt!!! He loved his family and we both gushed with pride as we talked about our beloved grandkids. Ira, you lived a large life that was cut short way too soon. Rest in peace and God bless your beautiful family. Farewell Old Warrior!
