EAST BRUNSWICK – LAWRENCE A. LODISH passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Princeton Penn Medical Center in Princeton, NJ. He was 84 years old.

Born in Cleveland, OH, to Harry and Naoma Lodish, he resided in the suburbs of Cleveland for the majority of his childhood, before moving to the suburbs of Philly for 10 years, eventually moving to New Jersey and living in East Brunswick for 40 years.

Prior to retiring in 2023, Larry was a furniture salesman for over 60 years, selling for multiple furniture companies in New Jersey. He drove over 1 million miles throughout his sales career.

In his spare time, one of his first loves was playing tennis and cards with friends and family. He had a passion for food, loving especially steak, lobster and ice cream sundaes. He enjoyed spending quality time with his kids, picking all kinds of fruits & berries. He also loved watching his hometown Cleveland sports teams, and then his adopted NJ teams. He had a great love for comedy and such a gift of making people laugh.

Lawrence is predeceased by his parents, Harry and Naoma Lodish; his brother, Jules; his sister, Abby; and his brother-in-law, Art.

Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Carole Lodish & dog daughter Olivia of East Brunswick, NJ; his sons, Howard, Mike, and Danny; and his only daughter, Arielle and her husband, Andy, along with his grandson, Lincoln, and grand-dog Jameson, of East Brunswick; his brother, Alvin and his wife, Nari; his sisters, Deb, and her husband, Michael, Ruth, and Judy; and his sister-in-law, Carolyn.
