RICHARD LODISH
On Wednesday, December 19, 2018 of Bethesda, MD. Beloved husband of Erica Lodish; devoted father of Maya Lodish. Also survived by Talia and Isabelle Zimmerman. A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 20, 10 a.m. at Garden of Remembrance, 14321 Comus Rd, Clarksburg, MD 20871. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 4, 10 a.m. at Washington Hebrew Congregation, 3935 Macomb St NW, Washington, DC 20016. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Martha's Table, (marthastable.org). Services entrusted to Sagel Bloomfield Danzansky Goldberg Funeral Care.www.sagelbloomfield.com

Im so very saddened to learn of Richs passing! When my daughter was in lower school I often saw/spoke with or heard Rich speak, when I volunteered there. A most interesting man. And I am so sorry for your loss. Its hard.

When my son enrolled in the lower school, Rich Lodish was my first contact with the Sidwell community. He became a trusted friend and adviser for both of my kids, throughout lower, middle and upper school. He is one of the reasons that I came to love Sidwell. He will truly be missed.

A most PRIZED and VALUED colleague when I served as Head of Sidwell Friends School!!!!!! No educational administrator ever hired better faculty to serve students than Mr. Lodish.
