Thelma Crocker Smith

Mrs. Thelma Crocker Smith, age 85, of Meansville Rd., Union, widow of Carl L. Smith, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
Mrs. Smith was born in Union, March 27, 1937, a daughter of the late Elzie and Ila Harris Crocker. She was retired from Milliken and Co., Monarch Plant and was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church.
Surviving are a brother, John W. Crocker and wife Joyce of Union; several nieces and nephews; a good friend Joyce Moore and her fur baby, Angel. Mrs. Smith was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Smith and a brother, Earl Crocker.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Fairforest Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Mark Truitt. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Tuesday evening at Fairforest Baptist Church.
Active pallbearers will be Douglas Crocker, Paul Crocker, Gene Crocker, Randy Gregory, Paul Gregory, and Kenny Smith. Members of the Adult Women's Sunday School Class are asked to serve as the honorary escort.
The family will be at their respective homes.
