Rev. Dr. Theodis Acklin was a Preacher, a Leader & a Gentleman. The years that I attended the G.A. (When I had to miss because of Stroke, brain surgery & the sickness & death of my spouse), we were able to have short but poignant conversations. I felt his heart as he shared with me some of his trials, Minister to Minister. I believe that the Lord always had HIS Loving arms around Dr. Acklin.

"It's not important how many days you HAVE in your life; what's more important is what did you do with the days that you HAD in your life."
My second original quote is also this "Life Is Too Short To Waste on Foolishness."
It was a pure pleasure to create, teach, present, and direct Gospel music as part of the Dr. Ted Acklin team, especially at Blackburn Chapel, Briar Fork, et al.
He gave ALL he had in ALL the days that he HAD!!!
