Jackson
Theodore A Cusick (Ted) passed away on June 13, 2023.
He was born in Jackson, MI on July 28, 1935 to Homer A and Monzella (Benjamin) Cusick. He was preceded in death by his parents, his life companion of 40+ years Doug Riley, stepmother Marjorie (DeVolder) Cusick, stepbrother Tom DeVolder, and former spouse Jean (Stoll) Cusick.
He is survived by his daughter Rebecca and son-in-law Dale Lemke & their daughters Sarah & Dana; his sister Suzanne and brother-in-law Max DeVolder; and sister-in-law Marlene DeVolder. He is also survived by Doug's children: Joy & Terrance Atkins & their children & grandchildren; DeeJay Riley & his daughter Amara; Stephen & Sabrina Riley & their sons Asher & Josiah; and Kyrstyn & Kyle Viers & their daughter Remy. Ted was employed by Comerica Bank (formerly National Bank of Jackson) for 30+ years. He also taught at Michigan Center High School. He was an early Hospice of Jackson organizer and board member of United Cerebral Palsy Association of Jackson.
Per his wishes, Ted has been cremated and there will be no formal service. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
