Theodore Eastham Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cook & Son-Pallay Funeral Home - Columbus on Oct. 25, 2025.
THEODORE "TED" WADE EASTHAM, a devoted husband, faithful follower of Christ, and steady cornerstone of his family, passed peacefully into eternal rest on June 20, 2025 surrounded by those who loved him most.
Born to Malcom Fredrick and Courtella (McClung) Eastham, Ted was raised in a family where faith ran deep and hard work was a way of life. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers William, Kenneth (Roger), Fredrick, and David, his sister Barbara, and his son in law Kevin. He is survived by his brothers Jon and Donald, who continue to carry forward the values they all shared.
Ted lived a life defined by service--to his family, his faith, and his craft. A lifelong carpenter, roofer, and jack-of-all-trades. Whether building something new or patching what was broken, Ted worked with quiet strength and a humble heart.
At the center of his world was his wife, Rosemary (Castle) Eastham, his partner in life and faith. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, and the kind of support that carries a family through all seasons. Ted was a proud and loving father to Heather, Malinda, and Theo(Erica). His deep affection extended to his grandchildren Eric, Courtney (Rojani), Malina (Bryce), Christin, Kevin (Jazalyn), Matthew (Jasmine), and to his great-grandchildren, Blake, Bryson, and Carmen, who brought him joy in his later years and who will grow up hearing stories of his strength, faith, and humor.
Ted was a man of unwavering faith, guided by the teachings of Christ and grounded in prayer. He didn't preach with words so much as he lived his testimony through kindness, quiet generosity, and enduring love. He cheered loudest for the Bengals and Buckeyes, but he showed up just as faithfully for his family's milestones and everyday moments.
To know Ted was to know a man who didn't need recognition to make an impact. He gave without asking, worked without complaining, and loved without condition. His legacy is not just in what he built with his hands, but in what he built with his heart.
He knew Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." -Matthew 25:23
