Theodore Michael Matlosz

June 14, 1945- August 16, 2025

Theodore M."Ted" Matlosz, 80 of South Toms River, NJ passed peacefully on August 16, 2025. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

In accordance with Ted's wishes, there will be no services or viewing prior to cremation.

Ted was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Theodore T Matlosz and Marie A Matlosz on June 14, 1945. He attended Thomas A Edison High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey and served in the US Army, 1965 - 67. He went on to work as a diesel truck mechanic and then in the security department at Community Medical Center, TR, New Jersey.

Ted is survived by his beloved wife, Jeanette "Jay" Johnson Matlosz, daughter Debralynn"Dee" Matlosz Navantieri, son Theodore"Teddy" Matlosz, sister Carole Ann Matlosz, sister-in-law, Patricia Matlosz, granddaughters Gabriella Marie and Isabella Alexis Navantieri and grandson Theory Jay Matlosz and his faithful companion Hershey.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Marie and his brother Thomas Matlosz.

Memorial donations may be made in Ted's honor to Saint Jude Children's Hospital, a veterans organization of your choice such as Wounded Warrior Project orPopcorn Park Zoo, Lacey Township, NJ.

Ted leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion and generosity. He will forever be in our hearts.
