Theodore Scott Mayo, 66, passed away at Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY. Ted was born on September 20, 1958 in Vincennes and is the son of George and Bernadine Mayo. He married Susan Elizabeth Stodghill on June 14, 1990.
Ted was a 1976 graduate of Vincennes Lincoln High School and worked for General Electric in Louisville, KY. He was funny, loyal, smart, generous and Compassionate. Ted was a great dad and loving husband. He was a hard worker and was always willing to help anyone in anyway. He was kind, forgiving and understanding and had a servant's heart. He was loved by his co-workers and charmed everyone with his smile and twinkling eyes and sense of humor. Ted also enjoyed collecting baseball cards and railroad memorabilia.
Ted is survived by his partner in crime, Susan Stodghill Mayo, daughter, Ashli Kesali and her husband Seven, sister, Trudy Mayo Wilson and his brother Tom Mayo. Ted is preceded in death by his parents, George and Bernadine Mayo, brother-in-law Jim Wilson and sister-in-law Karla Mayo.
Friends may visit with Ted's family from 12:00 pm until the hour of service time of 2:00 pm on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN 47591. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity in Ted's memory. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Ted and his family.
