Theodore Perry Obituary

He married Esther M. Burnett on September 8, 2001.
Ted served honorably in the U.S. Air force in post-war Germany achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant.
After his military service, Ted spent 36 years as a meat cutter for the Farmer Jack's grocery chain. During his retirement, Ted was an active parishioner at St. Mary's. He volunteered as an usher, Meals on Wheels driver, spaghetti dinner fundraisers and driving other veteran's to their appointments. Ted was also an avid golfer and Detroit Tigers fan. He said the Rosary every day which may well have helped his game.
Ted is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Esther, daughters; Michele (Michael) Calamia and Denise (James) Bull, grandchildren; Nicholas, Amanda, Alysha (Ryan), Alexandria, Jimmy, Olivia and Jack, great grandchildren; Caleb, Cash and Connor, step-children; Brian (Daralyn) Armbruster, Cary (Denise) Armbruster, Mark (Shelley) Armbruster, Brenda Armbruster, and Heather Armbruster, step-grandchildren; Johnny, Dustin, Dominic, Raquel, Nicholas and Nathan, along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joanne Perry, son, James Perry, brother, Louis Perry, and sisters; Doris Tuttle and Joyce Adcox.
A memorial mass will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 11:00am in St Francis-St. Maximilian Church - Ray Township. Visitation will be from 10:15am until time of mass.

I took care of Ted during his last days, and he sure put an impact on my heart! We had many laughs when I would come to work, and he really grew on me! I will surely miss you Ted! Thanks for the laughter & positivity.

I sure will miss Uncle Ted. I would run into him at Kroger or see him & Aunt Esther at Home Depot. He was always smiling & could make anyone laugh with his contagious laughter. Rest in Peace Uncle Ted. I will see you again
