Theodore Wright Obituary
in Spearfish, SD.
Theo was a selfless, easygoing guy who kept life simple and got along with just about everyone. He had a cool, lighthearted way about him that people loved, and he loved playing his guitar. He always showed up with love and support for his kids and he had a special way of noticing when someone was feeling down and would always show up with kindness. More than anything, he loved being "Papa" to his granddaughter Rebbie. He'll be deeply missed and always remembered. He is now reunited once again with his beloved son, Eric.
Theodore is survived by his children, Briana Wright and Keanu Wright; grandchildren, Jeremiah Wright, Brantley Wright, Haylen Wright, Rebbie Wright, and Sianna Wright; brothers, Alexander Wright and Orrin Wright; sisters, Linda Wright, Gloria Wright, Patricia Wright, and Crystal Wright.
Theodore was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore, Sr. and Mary (Fire Thunder) Wright; son, Eric Wright; niece, Sierra Wright; brothers, Aaron Wright, Sr. and Michael Wright, Sr.; and sister, Angela Wright.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Wright, Jr., Brandon Wright, Kevin Eagle Tail, Fredrick Eagle Tail, Jr., Cory Walks, Patrick Fire Thunder, Bubba Colhoff, and Bobby Branch.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
Officiating: Krystal Rencountre
Burial Services: 1:00 PM, Friday, March 20, 2026 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City, SD
Arrangements entrusted with the Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD
