Theresa Paulette "Terri" Carr

Theresa "Terri" Paulette Carr was a very caring wife, mom, nanny, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend to everyone. She passed away on Tuesday May 10, 2022, with her family around her bedside, but not before saying her goodbyes and words of encouragement to us.
She was born to Clarence and Charlotte Bartels on December 14, 1946. Terri was born in Denver, CO but spent most of her growing up years in Butte, MT. After graduation, Terri went out to Spokane, WA where she went to Kinman Business College. There she met the love of her life, Robert 'Bob' Carr. Together, they had three children: Tammy, John and Heidi. Bob and Terri had almost 53 very special years together.
Terri didn't know a stranger. She loved life, her family and everyone was her friend. The center of Terri's life was God's work in her heart. You never left their home without being given something to eat by Terri or a word of encouragement. She loved to send cards and there was always a stick of gum in each birthday card. Terri's sense of humor and bright smile even in her last days is something that we will always remember. She was easy to love and loved by all.
Terri is survived by her husband Bob of Laurel, MT; children: Tammy of Laurel, MT, John and (Darcie) Carr of Evansville, IN and Heidi and (Brian) Kevelin of Lake Orion, MI; brothers: Craig and (Sharon) Bartels of Mesa, AZ, Lowell and (Susan) Bartels of Helena, MT; brother-in-law: Bob Kocher of Worland, WY; also 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many other family members. She was proceeded in death by her parents Clarence and Charlotte Bartels, and her sister Linda Kocher.
The family would like to thank Stillwater Hospice for their care and support during Terri's final week. They would also like to thank each and every one of their many, many friends and family for all their love and care through this time.
