Theresa Davide Obituary
Theresa (Codispoti) Davide, age 79 of Canton, passed away early Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Born in Sant' Andrea, Italy to the late Bruno and Vittoria (Papaleo) Codispoti, she was also preceded in death by her brother Joseph Codispoti. Theresa was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and the Sant' Andrea Society. She owned the Lemon Tree Beauty Salon and did hair for 57 years. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, cooking, traveling, playing bocce, cutting hair, and her customers. Theresa is survived by her loving husband of 55 ½ years Joseph A. Davide; son Domenico Davide; grandchildren Dante and Isabella; daughter-in-law Samantha (Getz) Davide; sisters Cathy (Frank) Ferrante, Connie (Joseph) Pittello, Linda (Domenico) Dominijanni, Lucia Zappitelli; sister-in-law Linda Codispoti; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, in Theresa's name, may be made to Aultman Compassionate Care Center.
