Theresa "Kitty" Foy, 71, from Inwood, NY, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2023 at home. Kitty was born in Rockaway Beach, NY on September 10, 1951, daughter of the late John Fox and Florence Olstrom.
Kitty is survived by her devoted husband Patrick Foy, and children, Donna Foy Eckstein and her husband Jonathan, and Patrick Foy and his wife Christine. Kitty adored her 5 grandchildren Matthew, Jacob, Liam, Allison and Samantha. She is also survived by her sister Florence O'Kane. Kitty was predeceased by her brothers Robert, James, Edward and Richard and her sisters Joan and Patricia.
She touched the lives of many people and brightened up the room whenever she entered. She was always so caring and giving to the people in her life. Kitty was an amazingly selfless woman who always put family and friends first above all else. Kitty loved to travel to her "homes away from home" in Pennsylvania and Myrtle Beach with her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed the beach club during the summer months and a cocktail with family and friends all year round. Kitty was the absolute best Wife, Mom and Grandma anyone could ever ask for in life. She will be forever loved and missed.

Dear Kitty (My second mom as a teenager),
I shared a friendship with your daughter during my teenage years; a friendship that had its ups and downs, made me laugh until I´ve cried, and one that made high school a little more bearable. When I look back, I realize that my most valuable friendship could not have been possible without you.
I want to thank you for always making me feel welcomed, for taking me on multiple summer vacations, for feeding me far too many times to count, and for also having the absolute best snacks to munch on at midnight.
Above all, thank you for letting your beautiful and loving home be my second!
So many memories, but most of all, I will always remember your infectious laugh. Even as I write this, I can hear your voice.
You will forever hold a special place in my heart.
