Theresa Diann Grant, born on November 8, 1953, in Orlando, Florida, to Helen Virginia (Shirley) Kent, passed away on August 17, 2025, in Gans, Oklahoma. A cherished homemaker, Theresa dedicated her life to nurturing her family and creating a warm and loving environment for all who knew her. Her devotion to family was the cornerstone of her life, and she relished every moment spent with her loved ones.
Theresa, known for her vibrant personality and unyielding love for Dr Pepper, was a beloved figure in her family and community. She leaves behind her devoted husband, David Alfred Grant; Shawn Matthew Grant, and his wife Linda, of Cameron, Oklahoma; Joseph David Grant of Texas; Tanya Diann McKay, and her husband Scott, of Delaware, Arkansas; and Jesse Lee Grant, who remained at home. In addition, she was a proud grandmother to ten grandchildren and a great-grandmother to many great-grandchildren. Theresa also had a large extended family, including a host of nieces and nephews who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Theresa is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Kent; her brothers, Eugene Kinney and Daniel Kinney; and her sisters, Virginia Taylor and Lavone Harris. Her legacy of love, warmth, and the joy she brought to her family will continue to resonate through the generations she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
