Theresa A. Lyons; loving mother of Kenneth Lyons & Jessica (Stephano) Erwin; proud grandmother of Lyla Lyons & Brynn Erwin; cherished daughter of Bernie & Marilyn Barc; dear sister of the late Dorothy (the late Doc) Goyette, Tom (Carmen) Barc, the late Shirley Funk, Patty (Jim) Mulcahy, Gloria (Alex) Abellaneda, & Carl (Kyoko) Barc; beloved aunt & friend of many.
Theresa combined her sharp mind with a deep sense of responsibility to support her family's business, Abarr Sales Inc. She played an integral role in its success, ensuring that it thrived while continuing to take on new roles as the years have gone on always putting others first regardless of the situation she was in. Her commitment to family extended beyond the workplace; her true calling was being a mother and grandmother.
Raising her children and becoming a grandma was her greatest joy. She was their biggest cheerleader, their confidante, and their guiding light. Her wisdom and warmth shaped their lives in countless ways. Theresa's life was a shining example of selflessness and love, and her absence will leave an irreplaceable void.
Visitation 3 to 9pm on Tuesday, December 17 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Family & friends will meet for prayers at 9:00am on Wednesday, December 18 at the funeral home. Procession to St. Cletus will follow for 10:00am Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.
