Theresa Marie McGannon, 57 years of age, of Council Grove, Kansas passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Morris County Hospital in Council Grove, Kansas.
She was born on December 2, 1967, in Salina, Kansas to Paul Bernard and Rose Ann (O'Connor) McGannon.
She was a 1986 graduate of Concordia High School, Concordia, Kansas. She graduated from Cloud County Community College and then she went on to receive her bachelor's degree in Health Information Management from the University of Kansas.
Theresa worked for the Morris County Hospital as the Director of Medical Records. Theresa was a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
Theresa is survived by her mother, Rose Ann McGannon, Concordia, KS; two sisters, Mary (Galen) LaBarge of Concordia, KS; Patty (Al) Kolarik of Hutchinson, KS; brother, Paul (Kim) McGannon of Villa Park, IL,; brothers-in-law Patrick Reilly of Carrollton, TX, and Sean Dunnigan of Gurney, IL; 8 nieces and nephews-Melissa McGannon, Michael McGannon, Matthew (Michaela) Kolarik, Natalie (John) Horton, Ryan LaBarge, Megan (Zachary) Elzinga, Timothy Dunnigan, Caitlin Reilly; and 8 great nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul B. McGannon and sisters--Susan Dunnigan and Molly Reilly.
A rosary will be prayed on Friday, May 02, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, KS with Fr. Joseph Kieffer officiating.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 02, 2025, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, Kansas, with Fr. Joseph Kieffer officiating. The burial will follow in the St. Concordia Catholic Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas.
