Theresa Rinn

Theresa Mary Rinn, 76, of Mooers, NY, passed away tragically on June 17, 2025, in Ellenburg, NY, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident caused by an impaired driver.
Born on December 30, 1948, Theresa was the beloved daughter of the late Louis and Vernice (Stone) Sorrell.
Theresa was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard C Rinn Sr., with whom she shared 57 years with until his passing in July 2014.
Known for her deep love of family and unwavering kindness, Theresa dedicated her life to helping others in any way she could. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her loved ones – she was rarely found without one of them by her side.
She leaves behind four children who will forever honor her memory: Robert Buskey of Champlain, Pamela (Shawn) Driver of Plattsburgh, Richard C. Rinn, Jr. and companion Lyssa Lagoy of Mooers, and Corinna (Kevin) Fish of Plattsburgh.
Theresa was a proud and devoted grandmother to: Queena (Conor) Cooley of Rouses Point, Vanessa Buskey of Farmington, John Harper, Jr. of Dannemora, Eugene Ayotte and companion, Marissa Tessier of Plattsburgh, Samantha Ayotte and companion Gavin Coryea of Saranac, Chloe (Keith) Henry of Chazy, Zoe Rinn and companion, Bobby Bell of Mooers, Rensmay Lagoy of Mooers, and LeeAnn Ouimette of Champlain.
She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Trinity, Izabelle, Ariella, Colton, Sydne, Maverick, Cole, Lincoln, Aladdin, Aurora, Carlito and unborn baby Beauden.
Theresa also leaves behind a very special brother-in-law, Jimmy Rinn, along with many other dearly loved relatives and friends near and far – including her Ganienkeh Bingo family in Altona, who brought her much joy and companionship.

Though her life was taken far too soon, her loved ones take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her true love, our Dad and Pop. Theresa will never be forgotten, will forever be loved, deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, 26, 2025 from 2 to 4 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 793 Gilbert Road, Mooers. A funeral service will follow at 4 PM in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel.
