Trish Louise Rinn
June 2, 1953 - February 27, 2025

Trish Louise Rinn, of Easton, Maryland, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025, at Compass Hospice in Centreville, MD. She was 71 years old.

Born in Baltimore on June 2, 1953, Trish spent her formative years growing up in Baltimore with her two sisters, brother, and many cherished cousins. She attended Notre Dame Preparatory School, and went on to study at St. Francis University in Loretto, PA. Known for her humor and jovial spirit, Trish was always well-liked, and developed friendships in her youth that would last a lifetime. As an adult, living for periods of time in both Chevy Chase and Annapolis, MD, Trish eventually settled in Easton, where she built an incredible community of friends. In her final days, that same community surrounded her with love and unwavering support as she faced her battle with cancer. True to her spirit, Trish left this world on her own terms-swiftly and at peace.

She was preceded in death by her dear companion James Barrett, her parents, Dr. William Alexander Rinn and Margaret Barlow Rinn, her stepmother Margaret Loeffler Rinn, her brothers Nicholas G. Rinn and Michael G. Rinn, and her beloved dogs Beau, Raidy, and Percy.

Trish is survived by her loving sisters, Mary Beth Smolev of Owings Mills, MD and Margaret (Peggy) Dietz of Midlothian, VA, her sister-in-law Jacqueline Rinn, of Hunt Valley, MD, as well as her adored nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Her great-niece captured her essence best when she said, "She was a light." That light will continue to shine in the Easton community and in the hearts of all who knew her.

A memorial service to honor Trish's life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Talbot Interfaith Shelter, https://talbotinterfaithshelter.org/
