Theresa A. (Bourassa) Rygiel, age 95, a Lowell resident, died Thursday, February 19, 2026, at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Florian Rygiel, until his passing in 2018.
Born in Lowell on April 14, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Alice (Houde) Bourassa. She was a parishioner of the Holy Trinity Polish Church.
Theresa is survived by her sister, Irene Bourassa and her spouse, Patricia Robidoux; as well as several extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her siblings, Gloria and Roland.
It being her request, services were held privately. Burial took place in the Holy Trinity Polish Cemetery, Lowell.
