Theresa Irene Sirera, age 90, of Cranberry Twp., passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021 while under the care of Vincentian Home, where she had resided for the past 2 ½ years. There she loved her daily Mass, bingo, ice cream Tuesdays, summer happy hours, and reading her paper and magazines. She met amazing women like her who traded many stories of family. She always wanted to know where they were from and where they now lived.

Born July 18, 1930 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late William Hartman and Margaret Breen Hartman.

Theresa was a very faithful member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church since 1968. She attended daily Mass and was often joined by her "church lady friends" for a bagel and coffee at Einstein's. She worked as a waitress at East West Restaurant in Cranberry Twp. and Uncle Bob's Restaurant in Mars. Most of her friends called her "Terri".

Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her family. The Sunday dinners at the Sirera home were unparalleled. There was always room for one more. Spaghetti was a family favorite with her homemade sauce. Holidays around the dining room table were always a special event. She also enjoyed many vacations to Florida and Myrtle Beach to see family.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, John Lance (Noreen) Sirera of Odessa, FL, Robert W. (Joann) Sirera of Wexford, Timothy J. (Amy) Sirera of Ambridge; her daughters, Donna L. (Kurt) Beitler of Mars, Mary E. (Bruce) Miller of North Sewickley Twp., and Margaret "Meg" (Barry) Calvert of Butler; nineteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was deeply loved and respected by her family, and fondly called "Guggies" by her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert F. Sirera, six sisters, one brother, and a sister-in-law.

Viewing will be private for family. Friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 P.M. Noon on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Rd., Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 with Rev. Fr. Charles F. Bober as celebrant.

She will be laid to rest at Pinewood Memorial Park in Cranberry Twp.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Theresa's honor to the North Country Meals on Wheels, 3281 Wexford Rd., Gibsonia, PA 15044.
