Theresa "Terri" Marie Wright of Dayton, OH passed suddenly, surrounded by her family, Tuesday June 3rd, 2025 at 3:33pm. Terri was born on April 4, 1966 to Leslie and David Wright Sr. but found her real father in James Melvin Fields. She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Betty and Carl Berly on her mother's side. Betty and Richard Wright on her father's side. As well as her mother Leslie Fields last year.
Terri leaves behind her children: Lacey (Ryan) Roy and Gabriel Fields, father, James Fields, siblings: Cindy Elzey, David Wright Jr. and Karelle Fields, step-grandchildren: Alexis, Zachary and Ira, grandpups: Hank, Boyd and Kahlua as well as many cousins, nieces and newphews.
Terri spent 20+ years driving a semi across the country and locally. She enjoyed being outdoors camping, fishing or just sitting on the porch to drink her coffee. Terri went through life never meeting a stranger. She could strike up a conversation with anyone no matter who you were or where you were. The gift of gab was not her only talent and hobby, but also humor. Whenever you spoke with her you were guranteed to laugh whether it be a funny story, joke or some crazy prank she pulled on her kids. Her greatest achievement was being her children's best friend and greatest protector for the last 32 years.
Terri was a proud and loving mother, sister, friend and person. Many found a safe space with her coming to her in times of danger, and knew she would be there to help you in your hardest times. She was honest and blunt, but never judgemental. She loved being a grandma to her "grand puppies" and spoiled them any chance she could. She leaves behind infinite memories and stories, but a legacy of love and happiness. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her, but especially by her children.
A visitation will take place from 1pm - 2pm, Saturday June 14th with a memorial service directly following at 2pm at Farmersville First Baptist Church at 334 N Elm St, Farmersville OH 45325.
