Ms.Theresa "Lil Mama" Virgil Williams was born on August 25, 1952 to the late Marion Thompson and Alonzo Virgil (Sr.) in Thomasville, Georgia.
After spending her former years in Thomasville, Theresa moved down to Deland, FL in the 1980's along with her Aunt Evelyn and many cousins to create a life long home as a member of the community. In doing so, Theresa became a faithful member of Greater Union Baptist Church, known not only for her devotion to God but her unique sense of style, being coined as "The Hat Lady" by fellow members. Theresa worked as a CNA for over 40 years at University East (Deland, FL) and John Knox Village (Orange City, FL) serving hundreds of patients along the line well into her 70's.
Theresa will always be remembered for her ability to give anybody a laugh no matter what they're going through and showing up for anybody and everybody who needed her. She will be greatly missed by the following:
