Theresa "Mamaw" Williams, 68, of League City, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 26, 1957, in Houston, Texas, Theresa lived a life filled with laughter, compassion, and boundless love.
The devoted wife of Ricky Williams for 51 wonderful years, Theresa built a life centered around family. Together they raised a beautiful household overflowing with warmth and humor. She was the proud and loving mother of "her girls" Michelle Williams, Wendy Williams and Krista Steinsholt. She was known to her grandchildren as "Mamaw" and she cherished every moment with them. She lovingly referred to them as to her "grand weasels"; Emilee Tatum, Kaden Williams, Ruby Emilienburg, Kamden Steinsholt and Lucas Pacheco. Without fail, her spunk and humor made it to the next generation when she was blessed with a "great grand weasel", Adalynn, who she nicknamed "Punkin".
Theresa was the daughter of the late Samuel and Ruby Bedingfield and the sister of the late Janet McVicker, Benjamin Bedingfield, and Kathryn Pritchard. Though she endured heartbreak in losing loved ones, her strength and humor never wavered.
Her defining traits-a quick wit, endless compassion, and a firm belief that no one should ever go hungry-made her a cornerstone to all who knew her. Whether she was cooking up a family meal, telling stories that left everyone laughing, or lending a hand to a friend in need, Theresa lived for the joy and comfort of others.
Being a wife, mother, and "Mamaw" was more than a role for Theresa; it was her life's greatest passion. The family will honor her memory with a Celebration of Life at a later date.
In her own words to make a long story short, she is finally at peace and happily Over the Rainbow.
