Theresa Kay Yarrington

Mrs. Theresa Kay Yarrington, age 64, a resident of the Cooperville Community passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. Born on July 3, 1959 to Robert and Deanna May Drews Eckwright. Theresa was a Registered Nurse, her passion was always to take care of everyone first.  She had a heart of gold and never left anyone out.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She had a love for flowers and spent her free time in her garden beds.  Always the life of the party, she enjoyed a good time!  
Preceded in death by her parents Robert and Deanna Eckwright: one brother, Robert Eckwright: two granddaughter, Emily Grace Yarrington and Briannah Nichole Moore and one grandson, Waylon  James Johnson.
Theresa is survived by her husband, Merlyn Yarrington, for over fifty years; three children, Jessy and Ashley Yarrington, , Alisha  Allen, Dusty  and Misti Yarrington, and God children, James and Leeann Johnson; seven siblings, Steven Eckwright, Sr, Terry and Debbie Eckwright, Lori Eckwright, Jeff and Kathy Eckwright, Cynthia and Joe Lalonde, David Eckwright, Christine and Brent Cagle, Twelve grandchildren, Ian Lawrence, Joel, Deanna, Ryan Nickolas, Cody Lee,  and Hannalynne Monroe Yarrington, Brayden Cleveland Runnels , Presley Belle Runnels, James Johnson Jr. and Colton Johnson. Two great grandchildren, Mykie Yarrington, and Kinsley Johnson.
Visitation for Mrs. Theresa will be 5:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, May 31, 2024 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton; Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Saturday, June 1, 2024 in The Funeral Home Chapel.
