Madawaska--- Therese M. Dionne, 91 peacefully passed away November 30, 2025, at a Madawaska healthcare facility. She was born February 17, 1934 in Frenchville, a daughter of the late Honore and Eva (Thibeault) Corriveau.

Therese was an avid knitter and crocheter and created many crafts she donated to her family and many organizations. Her most cherished title was "Memere" and loved to see her growing family to include her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Therese was a wonderful cook and was well known for her potato doughnuts. During her later years, she cherished her many rides through the Valley with her special sister and was known as "Thelma & Louise," and her favorite saying as her family would part was "Bye!"

She is survived by nine children, Donald Dionne and his wife Diane of St. David, David Dionne of Madawaska, Nancy Gagnon and her husband David of Florida, Clifford Dionne and his wife Elaine of St. David, Raymond Dionne of Madawaska, Norma Ringuette and her husband Gilman of Madawaska, Marie-Ann Violette and her husband Mark of Madawaska, Louise Dionne and her husband Garold of California, Robert Dionne and his wife Kelsey of Madawaska and daughter-in-law, Nancy (Lavoie) Dionne of Madawaska; 24 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; six siblings, Walter Corriveau, Joel Corriveau, Ronald Corriveau, Germaine Dionne, Sylvia McInnis, and Judy Corbin; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Therese was predeceased by her beloved husband George Emile Dionne, three sons, Gerald, Camille, and Lionel Dionne, and five brothers, Roland, Ted, Philip, Roger, and Lorenzo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at St. David Church, St. David. Relatives and friends may greet the family Thursday morning 8:30 – 9:30 AM at Lajoie Funeral Home, 114 – 10th Ave., Madawaska. Spring interment will be in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Therese's name may be made to a charity of one's choice.
