Obituary published on Legacy.com by Klein Funeral Home - CyFair - Northwest on Jun. 26, 2025.
On Monday, June 23, 2025, the world lost a remarkable soul, Thi Xuân Ngô, who passed away peacefully in
Houston, Texas at the age of 71. Thi was born on August 15, 1954 in Qu ng Bình, Vietnam, to the late Tích Ngô, and the late V nh Th Tr n, of Qu ng Bình, Vietnam. Thi lived a life brimming with devotion, love, joy, and unwavering commitment to those around him.
Thi's journey took him from a small village neighboring the idyllic Phong Nha Caves in Qu ng Bình, Vietnam, where he crossed miles of hills and rivers on foot to school every day. Upon finishing high school, a feat only a few in the village and no one in his family has done before, Thi joined the war efforts and enlisted in the Vietnam People's Army. After the Vietnam War, Thi earned a bachelor degree in Agriculture and settled in Ho Chi Minh City, where he worked and retired as a civil servant with almost forty years of service.
But above all, Thi's heart belonged to his family. For thirty-four years, he and his beloved wife, Trang Th Thu Vu, built a life in Vietnam before moving to the United States, raising their children with love and dedication. His two sons, Th ng Vu Ngô and Tr ng Vu Ngô, of
Houston, Texas, were the lights of his life. Thi's pride in them was boundless, and his legacy lives on in the strength and kindness they carry forward. He was also a very devoted son-in-law to the late H i Van Vu, of Hà N i, Vietnam, and his mother-in-law Loan Th H ng B'i, of Hu Vietnam, treating them like his own parents and loving them with all his heart.
Thi leaves behind a family who will forever feel his absence: his beloved wife of forty-three years Trang Vu; his two cherished sons, Th ng Ngô and Tr ng Ngô; his two daughter-in-laws, Marjorie Taylor and Uyên Thu Nguy n; his sister Vinh Thi Ngo, of Qu ng Bình, Vietnam; an extended family of cousins, nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of friends that mourns a man whose warmth and love were a gift to all.
We want to give a special thanks to the medical team of doctors and nurses at Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center, and Kindred Hospital Houston Northwest.
A memorial service to celebrate Thi's life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 9:00am to 11:00am at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd, Houston TX 77065. A burial will follow at Klein Memorial Park Cemetery, 14711 Cypress North Houston Rd, Cypress, TX 77429.
Please, the family asks for no donations to be made.
