Thomas David Adley, 88, of Massillon, passed away on December 17, 2024.
He was born on July 15, 1936 to the late Emmet and Lucille (Volzer) Adley in Canton, OH.
A 1954 graduate of Central Catholic High School, Thomas was a veteran serving in The United States Marine Corps.
He retired from Crown, Cork and Seal formerly Central State Can.Thomas was a member of Divine Mercy Parish St. Barbara, where he served on the finance committee and many other parish organizations. He served on the Boards of, Catholic Charities, Hospice of Stark County, Affinity Medical Center. He was a 4th degree member of Knights of Columbus. Thomas enjoyed vacationing at their home in Arizona, traveling all over the United States and attending Central Catholic High School, Class reunions.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Nancy (Hammer) Adley; children, Michael J. (Shawn) Adley, Linda S. (Timothy J.) Martin, and Diane M. Eberly; six grandchildren, Angie (Brett) VonWahlde, Kyle (Jaclyn) Martin, Alicia (Randy) Taylor, Devan (Mitch) Polan, Cody J. (Emily Orsich) Martin, and Zack (Jaclyn) Goulet; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson Ryan Adley; and, a brother, William Adley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Divine Mercy Parish, St. Barbara on January 4, 2025 at 11:00am.
