Thomas G. Anthony Sr.

Thomas G. Anthony, Sr., 85, of Warren, PA., died Sunday afternoon, November 30, 2025, at Warren Manor Nursing Home, after an extended illness. Thomas was born March 1, 1940, in Templeton, PA. He was the son of Emory and Elizabeth Anthony. He was a long time Warren area resident. He was a graduate of Warren High School Class of 1959 and earned his bachelor's degree from Chaffey College. Tom was employed as a Accounting Technician for the U.S. Forest Service and with United Refining Company, retiring from Blair Corporation. He was associated with Pleasant Community Church and was a former member of Praise Fellowship. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was lovingly remembered as a man who was deeply committed to his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he helped raise. He was a man of strong faith.

He is survived by his 3 children – Linda Atkins of Zephyrhills, FL, Joanne Phillips of Land O'Lakes, FL., Joseph E. Anthony of Billings, MT., 1 Sister – Sue Ward of Warren, PA., 1 Brother – David Anthony of Erie, PA., 9 Grandchildren including Matthew Anthony (Cheyenne), Timothy A. Anthony, Andrew J. Anthony (Kendra), Lisa M. Stroup (Michael), Naomi L. Anthony (Chris) all of Warren, PA., 28 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Granddaughter, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother – Helen Anthony, 4 Brothers – Dan, Walt, Dale and Charles "Herb" Anthony.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, November 4, 2025, at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon, when a funeral and committal service will be conducted by Rev. James Swanson, Pastor, officiating.
