Thomas " Mike" Antoniades of Leonia, New Jersey, passed away on March 10, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his family.
Thomas, better known to all as Mike, was born on July 23, 1939 in Kavala, Greece. After leaving his home at the age of 16, he came to the United States on a Greek Merchant Marine vessel.
After making his way through various jobs in New York, he founded Anton's Carpet Services Corporation, which he has owned and operated for over 50 years.
Mike was a force to be reckoned with. One of a kind. His booming voice would carry down the block and his generosity and spirit surrounded all those who knew him.
Mike worked tirelessly 7 days a week, 365 days a year. No one worked harder than he did.
What mattered most to him was his family.
Mike was predeceased by his beloved wife, Stacey Sava Antoniades. He is survived by his children,
daughter, Nikki Rice and husband John, his daughter Toni Vicente and husband Gary, and his son,
Michael Antoniades and wife, Kathy. His memory lives on in his devoted grandchildren, Jack Rice, Nicholas Rice, Thomas Antoniades and Dominic Antoniades. He was fortunate to have many cousins and friends who he loved dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited for visitation on Wednesday, March 13th from 4-8pm at Barrett Leber Funeral Home, 148 Dean Drive, Tenafly, NJ 07670
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 14th at 11am
