Judy was born on June 25, 1948 to Roy and Charlotte Paxton in Hackensack Hospital. She grew up in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. She was an honor student in grammar and high school. After high school, Judy worked for 15 years at Volkswagen of America in Fort Lee, NJ. When she was living in Hackensack she met her future husband, John Solga. John invited Judy to come to his brother's 25th birthday party. After the party Judy and John began to date. On December 24th, two months after Rory's birthday party, Judy and John were engaged. Two months later John and Judy were married at St. Cecilia Church on February 14th, St. Valentine's Day. Judy and John lived in Hackensack for 10 years then moved to Mahwah, NJ. John and Judy lived in Mahwah for 40 years. Judy went home to Heaven to see Jesus on October 5, 2025. Funeral arrangements will be at Barrett-Leber Funeral Home in Tenafly, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge
