He is survived by children Kevin (Bettie) Bahen, Jeanne (Gary) Clayton, Maureen (Lloyd) McCord and James (Tracey) Bahen. Tom had 8 grandchildren, 3 bonus grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Tom joined the Navy out of high school and served for three years. He went to college on the G.I. bill and attended Xavier College for one year, studying pre-law. He transferred to the University of Detroit and graduated from law school.
While attending U of D, Tom met Claire at a dance. They married on October 20, 1951 and were married for 73 years. They raised their children in Livonia, Michigan. Tom partnered with George Perry and opened their own law practice. After several years, Tom joined the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office.
After retiring from there, Tom and Claire moved to Hartland. He worked for the Livingston County Prosecutor's office. They attended St. John's Catholic Church and we're involved in various activities. Tom will be remembered for a life well lived. He was a man of integrity and loved his family and friends.
