Thomas Earl Baldwin, 83 of 622 Dobbins Rd. Ellenboro, died Saturday June 19,2004 at his residence. He was a native of Rutherford County a son of the late Claude D. Baldwin Sr. and Grace Nance Baldwin. He was a U.S. Army Vetran Serving During WWII, Retired owner of Earls Sav Mor, B&H Bonding and Baldwin Used Auto Parts. He was a member of Race Path Baptist Church, AMVETS, and Ellenboro Woodmen of the World. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers , C.B. Baldwin Jr., Clyde Baldwin and Lawrence Baldwin and one sister Vera Mae Lee.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy Kirby Baldwin of the home, one son Thomas (Tom) and wife Joe Baldwin of Ellenboro, and one daughter Karen and husband Robert Cave of Mooresboro., Four brothers Charles Baldwin of Forest City, Bobby Jo Baldwin of Portsmouth VA., Glenn Baldwin of Boiling Springs, and Johnny Baldwin of Virginia Beach VA., Four sisters Magonia Prevette of Winston-Salem, Mavis Dail of New Port News VA., and Dorothy Huffstetler of Kings Mountain. Five Grandchildren, Angela Cave, Kent Baldwin, Audra Malone, Mark Cave, and Heidi Moose.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Wednesday June 23,2004 at Race Path Baptist Church with the Rev. John Godfrey and Rev. Edward Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.

Visitation will be 6-8:30 P.M. Tuesday June 22,2004 at McKinney- Landreth Funeral Home Cliffside, NC .
